What Is Infertility And Ayurvedic Treatment For Infertility

According to Ayurveda, Infertility primarily refers to the biological inability of a woman of reproductive age to contribute to conception & also the state of a woman who is unable to carry a pregnancy to full term. According to modern science, the failure to conceive a baby after a year of regular intercourse without contraception is called infertility.

The most typical female infertility issue is with an ovulation disorder. Ovulation is crucial for the discharge of the egg from the ovary. Some symptoms that a woman is not ovulating include irregular or absent menstrual periods. Other causes of infertility include:

  • Blocked fallopian tubes (the tube through which the egg travels from the ovary to the uterus)
  • Endocrine disorders
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Anatomical defects of the uterus
